Operation Rescue and the Battle for the Soul of America (CACN Dec 1991)

That was the title of the lead article of Capital Area Christian News (Dec. 1991), by Terence Hughes (Professor of Quaternary Studies at the University of Maine).  He recounts his own anti-abortion activism and a recent trip to court in Brookline, Mass.  He pleads with  his materialist scientist comrades who brook no room for consideration of a soul resident in human being, and he mocks those who reject God because of their religious belief in evolution with its materialist presuppositions.

The12-page newsletter also featured a reprint of a news photo of Jayne Bray (p. 6) speaking at a press release outside the Supreme Court following its session hearing oral arguments in the case, Bray v. Alexandria on October 16, 1991.
