Suicidal Democracy

It is the nature of this beast.   “The people” choose what they think to be best for themselves.  But, of course, in their selfishness and Lawlessness, they choose poorly.  Having rejected the wisdom of God in favor of the wisdom of men, they play the fool and follow the path of self-destruction.  It is only when a people recognize the folly of their Godless Lawlessness that they can repent, honor God and His Law, and restore (according to His mercy) their governments.

Consider the stupidity of those with an inflationary money system, which constantly devalues its currency by the printing of fake money, who then discourage their citizens from producing the offspring (overpopulation, don’t you know?) which are necessary to pay the debt and sustain the system!

Stupid, indeed!  But cool and appealing to those who refrain from thinking.  

Well, to the private citizen who wants to survive, we might advise him not to rely upon this crazy government.  Better to look to your children – and have plenty of them – so they can look after you in due time.  Don’t play the fool and think this government will take care of you like your family would.

But if you have no family, better get close with God’s people, the family of God.  No faking it, however.  Repent, honor the Savior, and walk right.  Strengthen the church, the body of Christ, the Light of the world.
