Darlene Brison Executes Adulterous Mate

That title above might have been the headline story regarding 56-year-old Darlene Brison’s killing of  49-year-old Reginald Stewart.   Instead, the title of the story presented by Riverfronttimes.com is  “He Called Me a One-Eyed Bitch… So I Shot Him,” Accused Murderer Says  (See https://www.riverfronttimes.com/newsblog/2019/04/25/he-called-me-a-one-eyed-bitch-so-i-shot-him-accused-murderer-says?utm_source=widget&utm_medium=articleblog&utm_campaign=rightrail&utm_content=MorebyThisAuthor)

Other summary assessmentsoffered by Miss Brison and included in the Riverfront report were: “Hekicked me and called me a one-eyed bitch, so I got my .22, and I shothim!” and “He out fucking another bitch, too, and wanna call me aone-eyed bitch, so I killed that motherfucker.” 

What is one tomake of this case?  Must this woman becharged with murder? Or might she be vindicated with a justifiable homicideconclusion?   Maybe something in between will do – surely someinsanity defense may be construed.

If her mancommitted adultery and merited the death penalty and she meted out justice underthe fair assumption that she would get no justice from “the law,”might she not be granted some leniency?
