The Buffoonery of Karl Marx

Karl Marx declared: “The more of himself man attributes to God, the less he has left in himself.”

And one might expect such a musing from a zealous anti-Christ: someone who rejects the revelation of God in the Son, the Creator who was sent by the Father to rescue His chosen ones.

Yes, it appears that Marx missed the boat and will be doing time afflicted with that eternal judgment. 

Life is not about serving oneself, primarily, but about praising, honoring, and serving the Creator and Savior.  It is the Father, Son, and Spirit who are the focus of our attention and worship. 

And this God calls us, indeed, to serve others in His name. 

It all comes around.  We serve the eternal God: Father, Son, and Spirit.  And the means of doing so is serving those created in His image.

So it is that we serve ourselves by serving God, and in obedience to Him, we serve OTHERS.  In the end, we serve our best interest and enjoy the company of the triune God forever.
