“You know I need your money, honey You know I got to have it right now! Got to pay my bills to give you those thrills Puttin’ music on the radio. I know I talk a little too much But for some folks I’m a genuine crutch. They like to hear my voice a beggin’ Helps ’em feel like a Carl Sagan Explorin’ the world for a fixin’.” Well, it just might be worth some pennies To keep that sound in the air. Have to mull it over – give it a think; With my happiness, might be a link. Meanwhile I’ll just keep listenin’ Takin’ in that sound for my pleasure; Music is a wonder and a treasure.
