Edom Revolts

 (2 Chron. 21)

Edom was a nasty rebel: Played the whore and led Judah astray. (11) A letter came to him from Elijah Said, “You fail to walk like Jehoshaphat Or in the ways of Asa, the king of Judah! You’re acting like those kings of Israel, A bad example for Jerusalem! (13) So the Lord gonna strike your people: Your wife and all your things with calamity! (14) Oh, your bowels are gonna come right out! (15) Be bad?  He’ll make you give a big shout!” Then the Lord stirred the spirit of the Philistines And the Arabs on the Ethiopian border. (16) They came against Judah and invaded; On the things of the king there were sated. (17) Jehoahaz was the only son left behind. (17) The Lord smote his bowels;  He wasn’t kind. (18) At the end of two years, he died in great pain (19) And no one cared to remember his name.
