Five pieces o’ chocolate I found today On my walk round the city way. Ate one a moment ago to no distress; I’ll save for someone else the rest. What a blessing are walks around town; Never know what on the street may be found! Well that’s the news in the ante-meridian; Might have later something more excitin’. Peace to all takin’ time to read Something I write other than a screed. Well I ate one and waited (Breath quite abated) And saw that I didn’t die! So I’m gonna eat another; Might share one with a brother Talkin’ ’bout protectin’ the right To eat whatever you find on the ground!
