Freedom! (?!?!?)

What a stupid outcry when left undefined!

Freedom for what!

Freedom to sin?  Freedom to blaspheme?  Freedom to murder children in the womb?

How about yelling “Restriction!”?  No murder, no blasphemy, no stealing!

How about yelling “Restrain yourself!” from coveting, from lusting, from dereliction of duty!

Rather: cheers for righteous freedom!

How about freedom to repent and confess sins resulting in forgiveness?

How about freedom from the bondage of sin?   How about freedom from the condemnation of the law thanks to the work of the Triune God: the Father sending the Son to die for  our sins and then for the freedom available to us as the Spirit applies His sanctifying power to our redeemed bodies and souls?
