Purposes for Evil

2 Chron. 18:22

Yes, the Lord has purposes for evil! The world is not out of control; He knows what He’s doing up there! You think He sits around without a care? He said, “You are to entice him and prevail.” (21) Talkin’ ’bout Micaiah and Jehoshaphat. What else can we say about that? Don’t you know? Said, “Go and do so”! You might think the world is out of control But He got it in His hand, don’t you know? You out there havin’ fun while He’s gettin’ it done. He’s got it all wrapped up and won! Yeah, the Lord can entice (He’s got it like that.); Might use a whale or even a rat. He can bring down trouble on your head Or give you night mares in your bed. See Zedekiah was the son of Chanaanah; Smacked the cheek of the prophet, Micaiah. Said, “How’d the Spirit go from me to you?” Said Micaiah, “Take a look for yourself! If you come back, I’m a lyin’ elf!” So Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah Joined up with the king of Israel “A disguise for the battle is the plan! I’ll go to war like a regular man!” (29)
