Telephone Poles!

Strolling around Wilmington, I see these old telephone poles and I wonder how long they can last?  Looks like the city (or county or state) pumps some type of preservative in them – by the looks of some of the holes and plugs in the wood – but I wonder how long it will last and what it would cost to replace the poles when the necessity comes!

Oh, yes, there are always issues and problems surrounding us.  This is just another one we must ignore for the moment to focus on those pressing us now.   Put in off until its urgency is . . . a crisis.

Understandable.  Got other priorities, such as the lives snuffed out in many wombs!   (Onward.  The poles can wait!)
