The Soul’s Longing for the Body

The soul has a longing for the body.  The soul of each person began at conception with the body.  There was no preexistence.  The two began together and are comfortably linked.  The unnatural separation which occurs at death is remedied by the resurrection.  The re-union will occur for all persons.  But for some – too many – it will be a most unpleasant re-connection.  It is hard to imagine.  But it seems that this cursed multitude will be reconstructed with endurable bodies able to sustain constant pain. 

So this “natural” reunion will not be pleasant at all.  It is forecast for us in God’s word.  So seek that other reunion with the body that will dwell in the company of the Savior with His saints!  Avoid that dungeon of heat and horror in the company of the wicked forever.

Repent and follow the Savior, the One Jesus.
