When the Heathen Finally Cry “Uncle”!

When the heathen cry “Uncle”! And say, “Please tell us what to do!” Do we have an answer to give them Some counsel that they can use? Do we say, “Ah, just trust in the Lord” And leave them to figure it out? Or do we give ’em those Ten with a shout? “No murder, no stealin’ and no fornication No givin’ up work ‘cept for vacation” And don’t forget the Lord’s Day and to pray.” Yeah, those heathen are in need of instruction To the Law of God an introduction. They’re out runnin’ wild like a band of fools The Word and good counsel are mighty fine tools. Yeah, that Word tells us how to live, Whom to serve and where to give, So put it out for the blind to see! He opens those hearts; He got the key.
