A Heretic Meditation

Heresies are worse than regular crimes; they are an assault upon the soul rather than the body.  So it is today with the likes of, say, Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Wierville’s Way religion, many Godless Democrats, and even some Republicans who deny the triune God.  The one who wars against the soul, even in ignorance, does more harm than a Nazi soldier.   He leads others into darkness and to the death to which they arrive without repentance before the triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Now, indeed, a thorough knowledge of this triune God, justification, sanctification, eschatology, and  the function of law and Gospel is not essential to one’s personal salvation.   But it is important to grasp the message that the love of the God of heaven was so great that He gave up His very own life for us.   God, Himself,  made the ultimate sacrifice; He held nothing back even unto the sacrifice of Himself for us!

May those entrapped by various false teachings which deny the triune God escape by means of His sovereign grace as He mercifully opens their eyes to know the one, true, triune God.  The Father sent the Son to pay for the sins of the world and He sends the Spirit now, to draw His elect to the Son for salvation in Him alone.

Those who teach contrarily are condemned by the Scriptures, the Church Fathers, the Creeds (Apostles, Nicene, Athanasian, etc. ) and all churches which hold to the inerrancy of the Scriptures.
