A poem a day Keeps the devil away From mind, heart and soul. Words of good cheer Drive out the fear Of darkness, sin and wrong. As we offer up songs Of praise to His glory We remember the story That brings us hope in life Delivering us from strife That besets our days Distorting plans and ways To serve others well And to deliver from hell. It is the Lord we do serve When we help those who Do not deserve The mercy He extends to all Since that Day of the Fall.
