A Tough Day

A tough day she was having indeed; Of rest she was surely in need. The children were fussing As she was them trussing; In chairs they were finally bound. She need only endure the sound. As they squirreled and wiggled around. But what would she do if she could? Leave them and go to the woods? Soon, each one she would miss; Run out of those things on the list. Yes, kids are a joy and a pain, But by them holiness we gain.
