Children. A Blessing, So . . .

So children are declared in God’s word, As you know, to be a “blessing.” And you think otherwise; is that not so? So, are you saying that you don’t want That which God says is a good thing?!? Have you some knowledge above His, Such that you think more accurately About the nature of true beneficence? (O may your contemplation make some sense; Tell us, please, of your wit’s wisdom! What is a blessing and what just dumb? What is to be last and what first? And what would YOU call a curse? Is barrenness now a desire of your heart? Have you a truly anti-reproductive bent?) Ah, yes, there is that choice to pick: which Of those blessings to receive or ditch? (Uh ha!  Well, that may make some sense – or not.) Would you say “No!” to  good heath Or to some travel and lots of wealth? So . . . what is it about kids you don’t want? He says they’re a blessing, so you best believe it! That labor that God, Himself, embraces Is given for you no matter what your case is. (Remember that Six-Day work thing He started And respected right to the day He departed? And He left His commands for us to follow, Which, when we obey, keep us from sorrow!)
