Maybe you suffered a twist: Became a Wierville Wayist; Or went as a polytheist Off into never-never land, Following gods of many choices, Listening to all kinds of voices. Yeah, Joe Smith was quite the dreamer And then became a religious schemer. Oh, but repent and come around! There is much more to be found In the eternal God who became Man: Sent down from the Father’s hand And led by the Spirit to die and rise After absorbing our due punishment. Don’t dis’ Him by calling Him anything less! Call no general a colonel And no sergeant a private. Much worse is it to call the Almighty Son Less than One of the Triune Union Who existed in eternity before one angel was made: Before the sun, moon, stars and shade.
