Enchanted With His Grace

In a free society the greedy One has the opportunity To gain more wealth. Does it bother you That he may use stealth? Are you jealous of the rich? Do you envy what others have? Why not be thankful for what is yours? Live your life and do your chores! Let the rich and poor abide in their courses Without bringing on the corrupt forces To mandate equity and “justice” As if it is within the power of man to bring To this earth with all his corruption and dearth Of ability to know even Right from Wrong! Pay attention to your own well-being And be glad that you have that bread And don’t let it get to your head. You wouldn’t have a thing without Him The One who brings us out of the din. So quit with the envy of others’ goods! There are many in lousy neighborhoods, Lacking what you take for granted! On His grace you need to be enchanted.
