Freedom and Wisdom

“Freedom!” fools used to say. “If you don’t want a slave, Don’t have one! We can do what we want! Don’t tell us what to do!” So said those poor fools Who supported the right To capture another person And compel him to serve As a slave of another human. “We have the right To have our own slaves!” And so say those who want The freedom to get that abortion. “Freedom!  Our right to choose! . . .” (To slaughter that baby in the womb). “Who are you to say what’s true? What do you know?  Screw you!” And so say those who reject the Law Which says, “Thus says the Lord, You shall do no murder” in the name Of  “choice” – snuffing out the voice Of the helpless within a mother. O but you must consider another “Opinion” – the very divine decree That in His image He made you and me And those little ones inside those women, And that we are obliged to honor Him And submit to His wisdom and decrees.
