2 Sam. 13f.

He gonna use the edge of the sword Won’t be nothin’ left o’ that horde. “Behold, your servants are ready! We’re with you, keepin’ it steady” (15) Well, the king was in a real bind; Had to leave back his ten concubines! (16) You gotta to do what you got to do To minimize that judgment Comin’ down on you! There were Cherethites, Pelethites And Gittites, too: Six-hundred men from a place called Gath. (18) So the king said to Ittai, the Gittite, “Hey!  You ain’t got to be in this fight! (19) Go on! Take care o’ your family! Mercy and truth be with thee!” (20) But Ittai was a straight up friend; Stuck with David right to the end: “Surely,” said he, “I’m ‘o be with thee! (21) I’m in!  Can’t get rid of me!” (21) “Alright,” said Dave, “Go and pass over (22) And let’s hope we got a four-leaf clover.”
