How to control those boys? Got to put a ring in that nose (11) Bind ’em with bronze chains (Manasseh kind of lost his brains!) Re-established that pagan worship That King Hezekiah had destroyed; (3) Worshiped those idols to be buoyed. So he prayed to the Lord in his distress (12) Wanted out o’ that nasty mess; Got all humble as a fellow is wont to do When the Lord dumps on us that doo-doo. And the Lord was moved by his entreaty; (13) Brought him back to that fair city, And Manasseh knew the Lord was God! Forsook those idols and the hot bods; (15) Threw them all outside Jerusalem Set up an altar to worship Him. (16)
