I’m Looking at a Pagan Christmas

(To the tune of “Dreaming of a White Christmas”)

I’m looking at a pagan Christmas Where people act so very crass Lots of goods and decoration But no time for celebration Of God coming into the flesh O that they’d come to know Jesus Who died and rose again for them Turn from their selfish ways And serve Him all their days Finding in Him eternal rest. He came not just to bring toys For all those wicked girls and boys But to die for all you sinners Both chubby and the thinner Especially to bring salvation joy. O, Jayne, you are such a wife You don’t deserve me all your life Such a penance you must bear From you I get such care While you put up with so much strife.
