I Sit in that Room

I sit in that room With pictures on a tree My many kids staring at me. They’re all up and growing And the Truth they’ll be knowing As their parents bring it to minds With words and cracking their behinds. How good it is to know That all those seeds you sow Will come up with some fruit some day. You teach them the Truth And show them the Way And wait for that time to sing Their praises for the life they bring To others they meet along the way. What fun to see kids of their own! Won’t be long before they are grown. On we press to teach the Right Praying all day and sleeping at night. Thanks to Mercy for painting the wall. I sit back and think about it all.
