Jesus, Enemy of Sinners

Jesus is, of course, the enemy Of sinners, waiting for confession And repentance from deadly selfishness. Let the sinner turn and avoid the burn! No.  He’s not the “friend of sinners.” He died to get them off the burners, So stop with all the “friend of sinners” Bull and join with the winners Who have been won by His grace And the sacrifice that paid it all! You may be a Wierville Wayist Or a polytheistic Mormon; Maybe even a Watchtower Witness; Any one of many-a heretic. But there is a way out for you! Repent, and then be His friend; He made the first move; Your repentance seals the deal! It’s not for you a steal; He made for you an appeal. Yours is to repent and serve; Follow Him as his woman or man. So you do what you can To bring Him the glory that is due! Do it all for Him, not for you. Repent and confess Jesus as King, Lord of the Universe, Savior of the World, God in the flesh, The Second Person of the Trinity; Not just a “friend of sinners!” A Savior of the repentant winners. Simple. Check it out and bow down. In time, He’ll raise you from the ground.
