Listen, oh heavens and earth! (2) The Lord got somethin’ to say: “An ox knows well his owner (3) And an ass knows where to stay, But you fools can’t see the light of day! You’re just like your wicked parents; Want a house and pay no rents! You despise the Holy One of Israel (4) Earning yo0urself a place in hell! I mean you’re sick from head to toe; (6) Got no bandages or soothing oil. (6) Cities all burned down to the ground; (7) Thieves takin’ your food all around. You’re lookin’ like Sodom and Gomorrah! Sacrifices mean nothin’ to me! (11) Don’t want your rams or the fat of your cattle; Your prayers to me are nothin’ but prattle! Your offerings are not worth a dime; Tramplin’ My courts all the time. (12) Your incense, a lousy abomination Bringin’ hell down on your nation.”
