Make a covenant with the Lord So you can turn the anger away All day.  Make a covenant with the Lord And you do what He says every day. Miss that terror, horror, and hissing; Turn your suffering into some kissing. A good bride is what you need Takes care o’ that horny greed. And those children; they are a blessing Got to feed ’em and tend to their dressing. Yeah, He’s got it all in His hands; Take Him with you all over the lands. No matter wherever you go, He’s God in any land you can know. He’s the Spirit; you know what I’m sayin’? He’s with you whenever you’re prayin’! So make a covenant with the Lord, big fellow! You’ll be strong and never turn yellow.
