Now Moses went from Moab All the way to Mt. Nebo Even to the top of Pisgah! Must have been a drag ya know? But the Lord showed him the land Oh, a lot to beat the band! Naphtali, Ephraim, Manasseh Could hold a lot o’ cribs, yessah! But Moses couldn’t go there He broke up those Commandments Made the Lord all mad So he had to die at Moab In an unknown grave buried. Didn’t pay well to be hurried, Overlooking the call to obey Steadily walking in His way. Saw Gilead as far as Dan And all worked out according to plan.
