Nothin’ But the Blood of Jesus

Nothin’ but the blood of Jesus Can rescue you from death (Might but it out or your mind, Drinkin’ or sniffin’ that meth). Bow on down and face the ground Your eternal place of rest! (Not to mention a place called hell waiting for off-putting fools) Life does throw some dung our way But we’ve got to play it cool; Let it roll right off; don’t pick it up. Why play around with stool? Onward to that glorious day When we stand before Him in fine array, Not a word spoken against us. All our sins have suffered a bust! He has smacked that devil down, I’m sayin’ right into the ground! So roll up those sleeves and duke it out By His own power you got some clout. You know what I’m talkin’ about! If you’ve butchered your body To cover your sin, There is still a way To come out of the din. Take on the blood that was shed for you; You know it’s easier than tyin’ a shoe! Believe and trust Him for what He said; Better than windin’ up forever dead.
