Our Pagan Past (Since the Fall)

For an eternity – before anything was made, The Triune God existed, independent, Self-sufficient, self-contained, and content. He needed nothing – angels, people, matter. He – this God – was in Himself, communal. Sometime after making the angels, this God (Father, Son and Spirit, don’t ya know!) Made people in His image, giving them free will. The “creature” made in His image, With moral standing, eternality of soul and body, Failed! Transgressed, offended, violated justice, And earned everlasting damnation, indeed! He let him fail and then restored him By the profound means of His own death! He is an awesome God, to say the least. So we properly sing, “Ain’t nobody Love like Jesus.  Ain’t nobody love me this good! And I know, I know, I know . . . Nobody could.”
