Pro-lifers and Life-savers

Extol those “bombers” a bit;   Just give them that laud That is due From each of you. Don’t need your money Or your praise; Just telling you about your duty. And since we’re associating And trying to do the right thing In all realms of living the life, This is just one of those particulars That is there every day Shining because of omission. I accomplished my mission Over a matter sublime: Children butchered every hour While the people showed no power To stand against THE holocaust, Afraid, perhaps, of the cost, Yet feigning concern for “the lost.” Oh, I  don’t need anyone’s praise, But it is the duty of others to give it. “Let honor be given to whom it is due,” Says the very Word you claim to cherish. Yes, we are all going to perish, Just as those whose bodies are flushed Away as we sit without even a hush, And then stand before the Holy One Who did not just stand around, But came down to steal away Those who were the Devil’s prey, Stuck in his jaws as he was ready To chew and devour all our lives. So did those bombers deliver little ones From death, blowing away the “clinics” Which served the goals of anti-life cynics. 1620 on 13 Dec., 2021
