Repentance and Confession Yields Forgiveness

13 June, 2023

Unlike Judas, Tom Spinks repented and asked for forgiveness.

He is forgiven.

It was some years ago when he came to me on some occasion that I can’t remember and said, “I need to ask for your forgiveness.”  He was referring to his testimony in court in which he declared that I assisted him in his abortuary demolitions.  Under the heat of the feds who had jailed him and were threatening him heavy punishment, his testimony (I have refrained from comment upon his testimony.) resulted in my 10 year jail sentence.

Whether it is truth we speak or a lie, we do what is necessary, sometimes, to escape the threat of grave punishment.

Tom Spinks performed many noble and brave deeds in destroying abortuaries in the D.C. area in the 80s.

(I remain silent as to whether he spoke truthfully in court regarding participation on my part with him in his noble destruction of abortuary death camps.)

May the Lord bless and keep Tom Spinks as He walks in the righteousness and forgiveness which our Lord grants those who trust Him.
