Service, Thanks, and Praise

2 Chron. 31:2f

Service, Thanks, and Praise Talkin’ ’bout STP It’s the job of those priests! Got to keep those people clean In the morning and the evening. (3) Got to offer those burnt offerings For new moons and fixed festivals. What a meal they had with those bulls! (30:24) A tithe of oxen and sheep in a heap (31:6) And sacred gifts that were consecrated; (6) The rulers took a look and were elated. (8) Hezekiah had some questions for the priests: (9) What to do with the surplus provision? (10) They counted the people; split it up even: (19) “Before the Lord he did good, right, and true,” (20) The kind of leader for me and for you, Whose example leaves nothing to rue. So whether butcher, mechanic or grocer, Just be sure you’re not a lazy loafer. Got to move and get things done’ Off your hind end and on the run. You weren’t put on earth to goof around; Praise God with a mighty sound: Good works and bold testimony; Don’t live a life of a jerk or a phony.
