Stumbling in the Haze

How sick is a nation that tolerates slavery Or one that permits abortion and sodomy! How has the sin of mankind been abated? It has not and so must ever be hated. The nature of man is indeed a fallen one! And all are in dire need of the death of the Son Who smashed the hell out of us and our disease And rose again with a glorious, eternal victory. Yes, we are disgusting creatures of the dark Following the devil like dogs with a happy bark. In a wicked society you have freedom To do what wicked rulers permit, But not what they, personally, forbid.  And what might it be that they despise? That which is good in the eyes of the wise! So, be glad for the land that submits to God And His law upholds and Him does laud.        It is only by the death and rising of the Savior That we can awaken and improve our behavior. So get up and follow Him all of your days Or wander the world stumbling in the haze.
