The Arameans Judged Joash

2 Chron. 24:23-35:4

The Arameans judged Joash: Killed officials from among the people. (23) Only had small band of men, (24) But the Lord was with those Arameans Bringin’ judgment on Judah’s head For the blood of Jehoiada that was shed; (25) Got murdered in his very own bed. The names of the killers were Zabad And another by the name of Jehozabad. (26) One was the son of an Ammonitess And the other came from a Moabitess. Well, Amaziah became king in his place (25:1) At the tender age of just twenty-five, And he reigned for twenty-nine years. Had a woman by the name of Jehoaddan. Well, he did right in the eyes of the Lord, (2) But his whole heart just wasn’t there; Killed the servants who had killed his wicked father, (3) Though he spared their kids as was right. (4) So Amaziah, the king, did some good things: Spared the kids of those who killed his dad. (4)
