The Girl

Dare I say she may be the one Who makes me smile And hail the sun For all its warmth And light to see? But without her, The girl I married And together carried Forth those eleven All sent from heaven, What matter would life In this world of strife Make to my spirit? What a pearl is she Who stays with me A rather dreadful fellow, (Eruptions from below Dreadful to know) and So forth and so on! We carry our song Of praise for the Law Which teaches all About life from above And that endless Love.
