The Happy Truck Driver

Comin’ down the road With a heavy load He was looking for a place To stop, take a rest from the race The road was long But not time for the bong He preferred a good song And would go right to sleep In no time countin’ sheep Then up and back in that truck And drivin’ hard and with any luck He’d make it home again To see beloved woman Oh what a fine wife Made him a great life And soon he’d be there All wrapped up in her hair
