The Next Termination

At the next termination There should be a celebration; (Love of life calls for such a thing!) Songs going forth, let the bells ring; Shout for joy and let us sing! Yes a baby’s life is saved! Many more gone from the door Blown away by such combustion. Ah, but there is no question; Lots of good comes from such a blast As one or two are free at last From the guilt that comes from inaction. Give a smile while you think a while On the national matter before us all. The judgment of the Lord may be abated! Oh how patiently He’s waited For some faithful fellow to cut loose Those babies on the schedule for the noose Or the knife that is used by the “physician.” Rest in peace, you who feared For the Lord to take account Of your negligence of the “little ones,” Those “least of these” indeed From whose debt you have been freed.
