Shittily did he speak to the lady And did deserve a rebuke at the least. Perhaps a slap on the chop Would have served better To curb such base indiscipline. Most high among the priorities Of civil human socialization Is the control of the bastard tongue When it goes out from under the rule Of a parental spirit of decency. Let children bow to the rule of parents, And let parents buck up and take control. It is a duty which must not be shed Lest one rears up a child for the dread.
