Those Coveted Miracles and Our Sanctification

No, He didn’t move any mountains; And He only parted one “sea”! He did part a “reed sea” (actually) a river: -And Moses walked through it- Once for himself and another time for Joshua. He also parted the Jordan River once for Elijah And another time for Elisha. That’s four partings of rivers.  So let us back off of the damned claim That He is anxious remove all afflictions In our lives that might make us uncomfortable! Obstacles are His tools for our sanctification! He cleans us up by means of trials and tribulation; That’s His thing!  Cleaning up our filthy souls! Best to stay with the story; No need to exaggerate history! He created the world and arose from death; That’s enough to stop your breath! You have no future, no life, without Him! Your sin will take you forever away Never again t see the light of day, In darkness ever to sulk in pain! Was it a failure to use your brain? Or are you just morally insane? Yeah, you are – and there is nothin’ But His blood poured out for your soul That can bring you what you need And make you – whole.
