Those Wandersome “Saints”

If you followed a false teacher A lousy fake and lying preacher, Best to repent and get it right Rather than relax and wait for the Light To shine all over your other sins as well Taking you right on down to hell. Best to repent and walk in His Word With His people who gather to Him And bow down before the Spirit and Son. The goal in life is not just to save your soul But to bring the King the glory due His name While you, on  earth were seeking your own fame. He came down to dwell with lousy creatures Who preferred to listen to disgusting false teachers. The goal now for you, if you would be true, Is to bring Him glory by the means He has chosen: His Body, known as His Church, is found wherever The people of God worship the holy Trinity. So whether it was Smith, Muhammad or Wierville Who led you around for a misguided thrill, Time is left for you to join with the saints in a story Here and now on this earth to bring Him due glory.
