Vigorously Serious

We ought to be vigorously serious About what the Church can be: Christ to the state and to the nation; Him the world is enabled to see! We are that means of his visibility; We are here taking His place. Whether we have a building Or meet in a field somewhere, We make Him known by our community: Our bonds of love and service. We are here in His place to manifest The person and the very love of God. The church is no small matter, So be careful when tempted to scatter And leave the people of God behind Because you have some beef to grind.
