Way back in the seventies There was plenty of glee, A time of romance and “Kathie Lee” A champ was I on the mat With a destiny for Annapolis. ‘Twas a prospect many cherished Even while some to war would perish. There to stay or leave I pondered An opportunity not to be squandered But out from thence I was kicked And to the road set off and wandered Not far or long and back to the Lord.
