Willie Went Out One Day to Play

Well, Willie went out one day to play And then came home to say That the day had not turned out right; Had a terrible fight with that lust And completely lost the trust The Lord had given about his loins. Paid a nasty lady some coins Started messin’ around that groin Made a baby on the way to be born. Well, it made him downright forlorn, So he decided to turn to a knife And do away with that life. Not talkin’ about his own, But one from his flesh and bone. So he did that little baby in! Had to hide from the momma that sin; Took a life to escape from that strife. Make it clear.  He took a life! Well, Willie had a long life ahead, But hell he was facing with dread.
