Wrestling competition was coming up soon – Which I enjoy better than my classical tunes. Gonna leave my radio behind And watch Wilmington kick some behind! But one of my stars in not there! He’ll be sittin’ in the stands somewhere; “Kid got kicked off the team for a vape!” “Oh no!  Whom did he rape?” “Nobody!  I said he vaped some smoke!” “What?  Must be some kind o’ joke!” “Nope.  Got knocked right out o’ competition. No chance to win those medals. Got to sit and watch and not wrestle!” “What? Might as well suffer under a pestle! Why punish a whole wrestling team? For such a harmless misdemeanor Make him scrub some floors; Wash down the principal’s walls, Carry a ‘No Vaping’ sign in the halls!” Yes, sometimes schools make stupid rules; Makes administrators look like ghouls. Sometimes you win; sometimes you lose; There are ways punish and ways to abuse.
